A Reliable Tool for Precision Measurement — Granite Parallel Ruler
Granite parallel straightedges are typically made of high-quality granite materials such as “Jinan Green”. Subjected to hundreds of millions of years of natural aging, they feature uniform microstructure, extremely low coefficient of thermal expansion and completely eliminated internal stress, boasting excellent dimensional stability and high precision. Meanwhile, they also offer advantages including superior rigidity, high hardness, excellent wear resistance, rust prevention, non-magnetization and low dust adhesion, with easy maintenance and a long service life.

Granite Parallels—Granite Measuring
The main characteristics of granite parallels are as follows:
1.Precision Stability: Granite features a homogeneous texture and stable physical properties, with negligible thermal expansion and contraction. Its high hardness ensures low wear, enabling the long-term maintenance of high-precision parallelism.
2.Application Compatibility: It is resistant to rust and magnetization, and does not adsorb impurities. The smooth working surface prevents workpiece scratching, while its adequate deadweight ensures high stability during measurement.
3.Maintenance Convenience: It only requires wiping and cleaning with a soft cloth. With good corrosion resistance, it eliminates the need for special maintenance such as rust prevention and demagnetization.

Precision Granite Parallels
We can manufacture precision granite parallels with a variety of size. 2 Face (finished on the narrow edges) and 4 Face (finished on all sides) versions are available as Grade 0 or Grade 00 /Grade B, A or AA. Granite parallels are very useful for doing machining setups or similar where a test piece must be supported on two flat and parallel surfaces, essentially creating a flat plane.
